Right, NO laughing at the back but here is a little video showing how the one I have comes out of the opening

This is a replacement glass and the the runner that fits onto the bottom edge of the glass may be even harder to get off from fresh

There are some nylon inserts inside the groove where it sits on the frame and mine have worn away which may have implications if they are intact

I did not remove the latch as its missing so not sure if this needs to be off to achieve removal :?

Which type. Factory seals or panel van seals?

Mines a panel conversion and they don't fit, don't know about factory ones.
The old jk ones worked but the new ones are like wrestling a snake or as quoted

Had nothing but trouble with JK ones myself. The windscreen seal is bulbous and nowhere near as good as OE. You can save money fitting non-original seals but for all the hassle involved in fighting with them, and the fact you shouldn't have to do them for another 20 odd years, you might just as well pay the little extra and get the right seal.

Sadly there's no such thing as an OE window seal for side windows on a panel van conversion.

there are alternative sources than the jk who frankly sell some right crap and claim things fit when they don't

schofields, seals direct, woolies trim to name 3

Word od warning........The nylon guides which you are missing hold the glass up, this enables the catch to engage with the notches in the ally frame. Without the nylon guides the latch is too low to engage the cut outs in the frame, and the window can be slid open from the outside with very little effort.
