It would be nice to have mine flashing because I am attempting
a straight line asent and select the front locker, the indicated light comes on solid straight away and isn't an indication of engagement.
I would think that in this circumstance as the locking mechanism trys to lock-up due to a rapid difference in wheel speeds, My thought is that at best it would not engage and at worst some damage to the square edges on the locker may occur.
I didn't know where the fault was until now, so thanks for that.
Has anyone repaired the pcb, it must be a commen part of the board that fails.

i was lucky enough that i had a good working one in the back full of spares which i bought with the doka.
i shall dig out the faulty one a get a mate to have a look.
i dont think they are very complicated.

i can understand why people want this to work correctly (flashing before engagement). but i think that you have to factor the vc in to the equation as well, by that i mean you could be driving along with the front diff locked (engaged) but it does not have an effect unless the vc engages as well. hope that makes sence

it has an effect regardless of the vc as it means that the wheels are forced to rotate at the same speed meaning they cant describe different sized circles, meaning it is very hard to steer except in a straight line.
