16" Steels M+S Tyres onto a 14" Van

Post by Yozza »

Ay up,
I've done a search on the forum and wiki, but to no avail, howerver, it was a 'man-look', so if this topic is covered - apologies?
I've got a 16" Syncro (project) in the garage that's from Finland that has snow tyres and my daily drive is a 14" homebrew camper (2WD) with stock shocks and springs (crop-duster). Can you see where this is leading????? :D

Wheels/Tyres are: (14" - 185 R14 C) & (16" - 225/75 R16)

I'm sure it can't be done but I'm curious to know why? I appreciate that the overall diameters are much bigger, which will affect gearing, speedo, etc. But would the tyres fit under the arches or will they scrub on trail arms arches etc?
