T25 Holdsworth no crank at all won't start

Post by nesty »

Hi

I have a 1984 watercooled T25 Holdsworth.

I been a bit gulity of not using it first time this year and it been sitting for a a few months etc.

Naturally the battery went dead and I took it off and have charged it up. However when go to crank it there is nothing. I get the click from the glovebox area. However no turn of the start motor at all and the voltmeter dives down then makes it way but up to voltage of 12.50V. I would of thought that be enough to least make a crank or some start movement?

I have cleaned up the earth on the gearbox. Though still nothing.

Could it be the battery or start motor?
