Thanks, I wouldn’t do it if I wasn’t getting paid for it [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]
Put the interior back in with a few improvements, customer’s very happy apart from the fact he can’t use it for a while!
Hi I’m doing the same job on my camper just a quick inquiry how did you manage to get the the gutter to flow seamlessly, because the repair panels are straight.
I’ve done one side and I cut along the gutter about halfway so I was left with outer gutter where the trim fits did the same with the repair panel then weld along where the spotwelds are then power file the welds smooth, it’s take much longer but was the only way I could see it not looking like 3 straight panels welded together, also the repair panels have to be messed around with where the roof braces are.
I think it’s just a case of doing whatever you need to do to make it look right, they are straight panels at the end of the day so a bit of tweaking as always.
Yours is looking good, thankfully the roof rails seem to be quite resistant to rot and the gutters are almost sacrificial!
