Great lanes all day, and that last one was a corker.
Quality.
And a traditional ending to any good day
Thanks once again from Jim and me.

Re: surrey lanes any one?
I have just uploaded some video from the Iphone and from Lloyd's media device and have got to say for the second time in as many Syncro meets the natural talent for new syncro owners and the 4x4 driving done by them has been gob smacking... Last time it was Lee in Wales, (OK he is a rally driver so it was a natural progression to off road driving for him, but..... ) this time it is Silvermullet. I was quite impressed with how well you took to it with no actual tuition of when, how and why you activate the diff locks, what line to take, and why to get you through some tight spots seems you could just see it and acted on it without fault, well done.
It was also really good to for me to relay some of the great advice that has been given to me from the experts over the last few years to Lloyd in an actual laneing session comparing this and that to him and the why's and why nots, and when you apply them so hopefully he can do a good un just like Ian did when let loose.
Happy Days

Re: surrey lanes any one?
Aw shucks Soft Spread, I'm all embarassed now
To be fair I did get a bit of instruction from more than a few at Syncropendence. I guess I was just paying attention
It has been said that I'm a bit special in the spacial co-ordination department
Itching to see the footage and show The Boss.
I had a headache creeping up on me all Sat avo (not enough tea) which developed into a full-house frontal-lobe splitting migrain by the time we'd got home
Went to bed at 8 and slept for 12 hours! Lots better this morning so I hosed down the wagon and heard a hissing sound - nail buried between the treads o/s/r...
PS what does the ESP function on the Midland CB do exactly? Would that have made me go faint on TX?

Re: surrey lanes any one?
Next meet will bring my own CB and camera.
Thanks for the use of your spare set Jed,
look forward to seeing the forward vans doing there stuff.
The sides of that last lane were V steep,
We nearly disapeared under the motor while bring up the boards.
Had to reverse off and take a second approach onto those boards.
The first approach I was so far on the tilt that I was close to loosing paint befor hitting the boards.
On the second the boards slipped a little, and we had compacted mud in the mirror arm.
Nice and soft though. On a few parts there must have been atleast 4" of clearance down the side of the motor.
Dont know why I bothered to look!
