Shame you weren't about to see me do the climb that one of the Land Rovers got very excited about making it up. ;)

Great fun, and a little friendly rivalry between the Syncros and the Bajas/Buggies/Rail. And to think that I was worried about keeping up with the Syncros! ;)

I was amazed how well the old Baja's did.

The lesson is clear...........Keep it light & simple.

Although not so nice to sleep in.

Absolutely! When it comes to camping I'd pick a Syncro every time.

Cracking weekend, great company.

Pity about the weather but that didn't stop us

Shame a few more couldn't make because you missed a good site.

James good to see you found the forum, did you get any pics of your mate being nearly vertical on that slope near to the baja pics?

Nah, you just made some nasty ruts - proper dented my front skid plate because of that. All part of the fun. ;)

very pleased that all who attended, had really good time, day one was a lot of effort to organise, and would not try that again without more help, however day two as the pictures show was brilliant and I will do this again, hopefully more people will join us next time

Agreed, we had a great time even though we were battling through hangover and sleep deprivation.

Sorry if we seemed a bit vague at any point.

Many thanks to Roger for sorting everything out, the driving on the sunday was great fun, would definitely like to visit that site again.

Managed to get away with minimal breakages, only a snapped speedo cable, bent sump guard, broken wire on the temp sender, and a bit of a dent in the passenger door......all in a days work for a syncro though eh!

Cant wait til next time.

We're back and a good time was had by all, especially on the Sunday at the quarry - a good site (but probably lethal in the wet)

Thanks to Roger and Julia for organising the event(s) and the camping field - worked well

Good to meet some new Syncro owners and of course Mr Alford (Defender) and Seth and all the Baja boys... them's fun things!
