Trolley or Bottle Jack

Post by isaacfull »

Hi all,

Just wandering peoples thoughts on jacks? We need one and cant find a reasonably priced one the goes high enough! Do people use Trolley Jacks or Bottle Jacks and also do people just get a shorter one and maybe put Scaffold boards ubderneath? Would this be safe enough?

Thanks in advance

I travel with a bottle jack, which can lift any wheel off the ground by placing under the wishbones. A big Trolley jack for home stuff. Then of course swap in some jack stands

^^^This^^^ After seeing how good Aidan's Toyota Hilux/Land Cruiser bottle jack was, I bought one.
