Hi Lee,

I have emailed the site (@feedback) and it no longer exists. I have then emailed the design company behind it (fuse), and the guy that started 'source' no longer works there.....although his colleague has forwarded 'our' interest on to him.

I await a response.

well it hasn`t got the origonal filler but it could have been removed as it runs a custom fuel tank??

i`ve posted on jacks blog hoping for some more pics or info on it.

says it was built to take on the rubicon jeep trail which to be honest looks impossible in a syncro.

FYI

Syncro Source owner has got in touch.....

Hi Ashley-
Am sorry to say everything has ground to a halt. Syncro concept project: liquidated. SYNCROSOURCE: neglected. Haven't touched it in a while ... I wish I could find someone to take it over - any ideas? I presume you have a syncro project? Do tell!
Thanks for your interest.

I think that the guy who built the "raised floor" dry sump TDi beast was also the original maker of the syncro embossed slider panels. Dedication and skill beyond belief. Must be a single bloke!

Hello!
I built the syncrosouce site ... quite a while ago. One of the 'features' was an over-the-top syncro concept, which as an 80-90 member predicted, "it wouldn't see the light of day before 2010". To which I of course took exception, and now to which I humbly stand corrected. I dumped a ton of money into a relatively nice sunroof syncro ... and then moved to a different state, with no workshop facility. Sold the project for parts. Have also since sold my really nice Doka/Syncro/VR6 to a guy in Huntington Beach, CA. So I'm out of the syncro loop and syncrosource business. I have control of the website ... anyone want to jump in and take it over?
