Gasure wiring diagram needed

Post by crazydiamond »

My LPG ws installed hundreds of years ago by thr late great Steve Shaw Gasure.  It stopped running today, and it appears that the shutoff solonoid on the vapouriser isnt being energised. The solonoid is fine and works perfectly but no power to it.  I have temp wired it so it works, but could do with a circuit diagram. Can anyone oblige.

Snap. I've no clicking from any solenoid when l turn ignition key. Neither petrol or LPG. Have manually switch to petrol. Will look through some paperwork later today and post again.

it's usually the switch that fails, especially the first edition of the switch with the useless level lights, or Steve's dodgy wiring with the insulated crimps

Maybe contact John at VW Worx, he might have a wiring diagram from that era he apprenticed with Steve after all

John knows nothing about the LPG side of things. He told me this when I visited him recently. I was talking to him just now and he doesn't have a wiring diagram.

Maybe contact Steve (Mocki) he used to do installations for Steve Shaw.

Aidan, the switch being an early level light switch appears to be all working, well at least the leds work in the correct order, Its strange, it was working perfectly and went to fill tank (69P/L) about 8 miles from where I live, stopped filled tank and tried to start and nothing. Swiched back to petrol and all was OK.  Got home OK and found no electricity at cut off solonoid on vapouriser. Will Try Steve (Mocki)
