Can anyone tell me an estimared figure on repair cost as I intend to get it fixed whilst im away. I understand it depends on any hidden corrosion etc. It's all I need having just forked out a fortune on it just before xmas

water leak
My van has a leak in the passenger footwell, having read a few threads in the Wiki section I guess its coming from the windscreen? I use the van as my everyday vehicle and am due to be away working with it for the next 3 months in the Norfolk area.

Re: water leak
An easy temp solution to stop the leaking would be to lift the rubber up and squirt some non-setting windscreen sealant in there until you've saved up enough for a repair

Re: water leak
Mine has a puddle in the left foot well too, I've had the windscreen re fitted with a new rubber by a pro, no rust or rot behind and it still leaks, I took the clocks out last time it rained and felt all round and I'm fairly siure it's not the screen, aeriel bung or wipers, my bus has the rubber noise preventer things on the outside and it's got twisted and torn you can get your hand round to the back of the a post and it feels like it's coming in there. If it ever stops raining I'm going to remove this rubber and see if that helps. Maybe we are all getting these leaks because it hasn't stopped raining since about November!!

Re: water leak
Mine leaked through the front panel seams, the sealer had shrunk and split, an easy fix with some masking tape and tool station pu sealant.
