That's pretty much it really. They can be a bugger if they've never been off before. I found it easier if you can manage to push the two tabs that stick out over the screw holes and then you can push it up without having it sloping outwards. I used a piece of old carpet and a rubber mallet on mine and found it easier if I concentrated on the ends and raise it out on the angle/slope as it were.eiret25 wrote:Can someone tell me how to remove the panel that covers the sliding door rail. Sorted, thanks to all who replied. I got the cover off after a bit of hammering. Glad to say that all was well underneath. I went to see if the sliding door catch was tight. I noticed straight away that the top bolt was very loose. I took of the latch, cleaned it up and area of body that it covers, gave it a smear of underbody waxoyl to give a good seal and tightened all back up again. The bolt holes are in the pillar. Water was coming in through them and running down the inside of the pillar and out the bottom into the cavity. Thanks again all.

Just to update, it has been nearly 3 weeks since I tightened the door latch. In that time it has made an unbelievable amount of rain. I check it this morning and the cavity is as dry as a bone. Pain of a problem, good easy fix. Thanks again to all.

Where is the water settling?
its in front or rear of high top, depending on which way around I park on my sloped drive! Almost 100% coming from the roof window seals.. but I have a cunning plan!
