Good quality body panels

Im going to have to replace bothe cab steps over the winter . Recommendations for best quality body panels please.
As in a supplier who supplies panels that fit properly without lots of fettling and adjusting etc etc ..

Brickwerks.co.uk sell genuine (not cheap) and aftermarket (a lot cheaper) The genuine ones won't need fettling. Not sure about the others.
Theres also AH Schofield. I think theirs will be aftermarket.

Brickworks do the basic MOT spec repair panels that cover the bottom bit of the step in one piece. They fit where they touch, then you hammer the rest til the gap is tight enough to get some weld on. They'll keep the mice out and satisfy an MOT tester.

BW also do "OE" style panels where the inner and outer step halves come separately, that way you can repair the step and keep it looking factory. It's a lot more work. If you have deep pockets, they even have original VW inner steps at about £160 a side!

As ever, avoid any "Klokkerholm" repair panels wherever possible. They're made out of offcuts from poundland baking trays which means they're incredibly flimsy. Just as well they're easy to bend, because they usually bare only a passing resemblance to the panel they claim to replace.
