Occam's razor I thought, and assumed it was expressed in support of the cam being out

Occam's Razor - check and eliminate the simplest solutions first.......

Not sure if it's the cam

Well, every day is a school day. In my 54 years I've never heard of this, and I'm not sure how I've missed it as it's the sort of stuff I usually know, so thanks for plugging that gap!
