Not the tidiest I agree however it shouldn't cause any issues and should clamp down nicely.
It looks like it's been done with a flare tool for SAE 3/16" rather than the DIN 4.75mm flare used on German stuff, the bottom side should be flat.

if you're not wanting to bend them then we do have a lot of pre-bent pipes ready to fit like so.
Saves us a lot of time in the workshop as we can just go to the shelf and pick up what we want.
They can be a bit of a pain to post!

I appreciate that they won't be everyones cup of tea but if you only need one or two and you don't have access to all the tools then you can achieve a factory look with little effort.
