pictures for the gallery...............

Post by Mocki »

If you wish to send pictures in for the gallery, please, please makesure they are a sensible size, ideally 300x400 pixels, or there abouts, as some i have just tried to upload are soo massive i cant even veiw them. Its all very well having a 200mp "karlosFandongo" megga super camera, but unless you plan on printing them some silly billboard size poster size please set your camera to a more sensible size,before you take the picture, it takes ages to email them ,ages to resize them,, and the quality suffers in the resizing dramaitcally.

also make sure when you email them, they are actually in the email, not just linked to a web page, i cant use pictures already on a webpage, the quality is soo poor and it just takes too long to download them to my hardrive and then re-upload them to the 80-90 webspace one at a time .

i just dont have the time to do all the downloading, resizing, uploading and suchlike.sorry.

email pictures to

mocki@club80-90.co.uk please.

For microsoft users there is a handy image resizer tool that you can download here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/Down ... rtoys.mspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This allows you to resize pictures to small, medium or large with one click in your image viewer. Very handy for website publishing.

download pixresizer, will do a folder at a time, easy to use. Even my father uses it so must be easy.

Whats even easier is, right click the photo and choose

"send to mail recipricant" or equivalent send to email depending on windows version

and then windows will resize it and put in email. You can then remove it from the email and there u have it a small version and no 3rd party software needed
