How do you remove door handles and boot lock?

Post by Funkyoid »

Hi everyone.

I am trying to sort out some damage and rust on my van and need to remove the handles on the cab doors, slider and the boot lock. Is there anywhere that I can look to do this? Or anyone who might be able to talk me through it (novice). I have removed the door cards ready but don't just want to hack at them as want to put them back and don' want to make it worse!

Thanks in advance,

Beckie

For door handles, lift the door seal where the handle is - see the crosshead screw? Remove that then slide handle forward slightly and lift out.

Slider, remove door trim, undo inside handle, out she comes.

Tail lock, scratch round plate with three allen screws so you can put it back in same place - remove allen screws.
