HT leads, firng order question

right dudes !

wiki says

Firing order 1 - 4 - 3 - 2 Number one is the front right cylinder. When viewed from the rear

haynes manual looks like this . . .

they are sayin cyl no.2 is at the front right, whos lying ?

my engine looks like this

as my HT leads are now is the way the van runs sweet, but the one going to the far right cyl is stretched and just reaches with out much play, is that right ?

am i losing me marbles ?

what has happened is that your dizzy drive is 180 degrees out. simply means someone has turned your dizzy round to fit.

My engine came with drive wrong way round but i removed it and put it other way round.

Haynes and Wiki are both saying the same thing.

When they're talking about front right, the front of the engine is the end that's closest to the front of the van (and closest to the gearbox and your back seat etc), not the end that's closest to your rear bumper.
