Battery type which fits under the Battery Covers?

Post by Yozza »

Second topic for tonight:

I'm currently plumbing in a Zig CF8 unit plus appliances, before I buy a leisure battery, can anyone recommend a battery which fits under the battery covers (which I'm keen to keep in place, I've already had to remove the cover for the engine battery).

Thanks,
Yozza

Check out brickyard westfalia forum, someone has found a 100ah starter that fits.
pasted from Brickyard.
Ok, the battery is a Numax Premium Silver type 100 (no product code). It is 175mm high and fits perfectly in the box. It has plastic covers that come down over the terminals (when fitted). The metal lid closes perfectly over the battery and clips in fine.
So far no one has found a worthwhile leisure that does fit. I have an Elecsol 100ah leisure but the flap does not close and unless you have a swivel seat it will foul the seat.
