Hi, I've just bought an original VW central locking set off ebay...
Has anyone got a wire diagram for it?
Cheers

Re: Central Locking Wire Diagram
great thanks!!!
Do you know if it is possible to hook this up with my alarm as well? At the moment I have a cheap maplins central locking kit, that responds to the alarms' remote control....
Thanks again.
oh btw... I don't suppose you have the key for the diagrams as well do you?

Re: Central Locking Wire Diagram
Its a few years since I did this, so working from unreliable memory...
There are 4 wires to each door motor, one +ve one -Ve. one locks and the other unlocks.
Taking the lock wire +ve locks the door, while taking the unlock wire +ve unlocks....
The motors need a pulse about half a second long.
Most alarms have an output for CL which has to be processed by an adaptor to produce these pulses.
You need to find out what outputs come from the maplin kit?
