Do you know your gearbox code?

An AAZ does everthing better than a JX, the gear ratios won't be ideal but AAZ is more fleible than the JX. Is this for a van or doka/sika, if its going in a van the engine lid will need a small mod to clear fuel pump.

i fitted one at the end of the summer - using the 3H box that came as standard in the JX. best i ever got from the 1.6 was 320 miles from a tank , now im getting 420 from a tank!!!!!! (needle being one needles width into 'red') i drive at 55 everywhere and have been on motorway once and was doing 65.
is so much more easier to driver , can stay in higher gears on hills etc . only mod is a 1.6 LDA pin from a passat. to hold a steady 50/55 im not even using half throttle!
cant recommend it highly enoug :)

will i have to change flywheel?. any pully wheels to be altered. can i leave the original manifold and turbo in place and modify exhaust.or will it be easier modding the jx manifold to the aaz engine ?.whats an "lda pin".
where will i find the gearbox code ?.

rust of course its got rust :)
