Anyone away this weekend?

Post by Louey »

Easter has been a bit of a feck up this year - we were due to be away this week but that got postponed and then other things got 'arranged' that stopped me from going away.

So, possibly thinking Brecons, Peak District or somewhere about the same distance from Brum - just daughter and me. Saturday lunchtime onwards up to possibly Wednesday.

Anyone camps on that I could tag along to?

There is forestry work going on in some parts of The Brecons at the moment Leon and some of the car parks are closed. The wild camping spot at the top of the big hill had its gates locked last weekend

Cheers for the heads up Jed

Was thinking of heading to the Forest of Dean first before the Brecons - it looks like it will be quite windy so the forest might offer some shelter. We gonna use a campsite for the first night near Puzzlewood - which was used for filming lots of Merlin 8) then we'll potter long to the Crickhowell area as Kim wants to go horse riding (she hasn't been for 3 years!!) :D
