Re: Auto Sleeper pop top front trim.

Just to bump this up again, I'm struggling to find anything for this! The area circled in red is where the seal I'm looking for goes. Any help or guidance welcome. Image

Re: Auto Sleeper pop top front trim.

Thanks jrt, do you have a part number os anything for it? I spoke to Just Kampers about it and they said they need to know what the profile of it is, The guy who took it off has lost it so I don't have anything to show the profile.

Re: No power getting to the starter motor!

It's definately not the ignition switch, I took the connector plug off the back and shorted the link out to check the line from the ignition to the aux relay at the back and nothing was getting though so it is a broken or corroded cable/ joint. My problem is trying to find where the cable runs are a...

No power getting to the starter motor!

I've lost power getting from the ignition switch to the starter motor on a 1.6TD. We had a problem a few years back where there wasn't enough power getting to the starter to run it so I fitted the aux relay in the engine bay using the ignition cable to the starter to energise the relay and a line di...

Sump to turbo oil return fitting.

Hi Guys, I'm having a recon engine fitted to my 1.6TD JX van and I need the fitting from the sump to the turbo return pipe but I can't seem to get one anywhere. Does anyone know where I might get one or does anyone have one kicking around anywhere?

Re: Best recon engine supplier?

Still getting nowhere with this! The VW Engine Company don't do diesels but they put me in touch with a company that do but it looks like all they can offer is a recon 1.6JX engine. I want to put a more powerful engine in to replace the JX but it seems there are so many options it's a complete minef...

1.6JX TD cooling question.

I have a 1991 T25 with a 1.6JX TD engine. We had water loss problems that were finally tracked down to a cracked head, we had the head replaced and all ran well afterwards. A few months later I noticed the water temperature gauge indicator had gone from just above 12 o'clock on the dial to around 11...

Fuel injector pump repair kit.

I have a 1991 T25 1.6TD and a leaking fuel seal on the injector pump. I can't seem to find a replacement seal, from my inquiries so far I have been told that the seal I want is no longer available. I have also found a number of repair kits on ebay, etc, but not sure if these are the correct ones. th...

Re: Oil warning light and alarm.

Cheers guys, the sharp breaking and turning such as on a roundabout seems to be when the alarm is coming on, normally after motorway cruising for some time. I think I'll get the oil changed for 20/50 and see how that goes, the manual makes it sound very serious by telling you not to drive any furthe...
