Re: Advice needed please Front Radius rod mounts
Measured mine this evening and they are a little oval, 36mm at worst and 33mm at best, thickness of metal is harder to measure but seems fairly even. Been trying to press in the lower wishbone bush. tried placing them in hot water but still would not go. Did the upper wishbone bushes with ease. I st...

Re: Advice needed please Front Radius rod mounts
Thanks, It nice to see one that was worse than mine. Looking at this i think i may be able to set a new 4mm plate in on the rear and use the front to drill out to the 32mm. The existing hole in the front are still round and well with a rough measure about 35mm. May have caught it just in time. Would...

Re: Few general questions on subaru conversions
Well the engine is in and running, To say it was hard work would be an understatement, i had 3 1/2 days of 5am starts and late finishes with a trip to casualty on day one as i got white spirits in my ear and got a chemical burn so now i can only hear as if I'm under water and have a constant ringing...

Hi Ian, i used a small pipe bender it cost around £8.00 and does 8,10 and 12 mm pipe, with a single bend upwards it cleared RJES manifold. you can see a picture on my posting " a few question on a Subaru conversion". The picture was taken before i re-painted the pipes as this cracked when ...

Re: Few general questions on subaru conversions
The way i attacked it was to remove the complete loom label everything even stuff you don't need, i labelled all in the engine bay and front wings to the front radiator but left the cables going to the rear of the car. I then laid it out and stripped all the conduit and tape and temporary taped it t...

Re: Few general questions on subaru conversions
Here are a few pictures of the loom now near to completion, i will try when i get time to do a line diagram detailing the cables needed to connect into the T25, colours and pin numbers may be different but for a guide it may be of use. This as been hard work on the research side, i have spent longer...

Re: Noisy from Gearbox?
Thanks Aidan, i will see how i go i always under estimate how long things take anyway so will see how you are fixed just before i drop the engine. Be nice to sort in one hit and i surpose the additional power from the engine will only force the gearbox into an early grave.
