Well i've driven it today after getting it as advances as it would allow and then setting the carbs a little at 900rpm. The van is completely different, loads of torque and much smoother. A good start!

Have you checked your airfilter? Mine was spluttery up hills... A disgusting airfilter was partly to blame. After taking it out its MUCH smoother.

Mine's got an electric pump fitted - i should probably fit a regulator and see if it makes a difference
