turbo diesel head gasket coolant port holes
Hello, does anyone know why some of the water ports on the 1.6td jx are blocked off by the head gasket. Is this right? Just noticed this when replacing it. Wouldn't this decrease coolant flow around the engine? thanks for reading, cheers!!

Hi thanks for the info Andy, how do you line up the injector pump, i know how you adjust its timing but i never thought of its alignment as i've always presumed you can't adjust that. If i can adjust this to compensate for the slight angle of sprocket due to slight side to side play ( thus squareing...

1.6td cambelt side wear, diesel pump play??
Hello, my cambelt keeps on wearing as it is continually being pushed to the side and rubbing down on the crank shaft sprocket/ waterpump pulley. Found some play on the diesel pump sprocket shaft, could this be the cause, how snug should the spocket shaft be, is there a bearing that can be replaced? ...
