What is this part? VW code 251 803 664A
Found this while foraging in the parts shed. I have no idea what it is.
VW logo and part number 251 803 664A on the plastic piece at the top (circle (pull loop?) is half present).
An internet search for that part number reveals nothing to me.

Re: Adventure Overland Show - last one ever
I’ll be there from Friday morning, with a van for sale and parts for sale.
I’ll revise my parts advert in our for sale forum. I encourage people to look and tell me what they want to view as I can’t bring everything.

Re: How do you mount bikes on your ladders?
Possibly. It depends on size of bike, wheel diameter, whether wheel taken off, and where spare tire is hung.

Re: How do you mount bikes on your ladders?
I have a rack, designed I think for a T2 but will fit over 14” tires of any vehicle, that can carry a single bike hanging off a rear mounted spare wheel. It can be taken off when not in use.
I could dig it out for photos. I could even be persuaded to sell it!

Re: Flushing out a syncro fuel tank
I used a donor syncro diesel tank in my petrol syncro. It was dry as a bone, but gave it a slosh around with a dollop of petrol which then went in my petrol lawn mower. Both mower and Syncro are still running fine. :D I also have a petrol syncro tank available for swapping or purchase, in North Som...

Regular MOT for safety checks.
Also a basic report from a garage saying “the engine has been swapped and the installation is sound” for DVLA to update their records.
Also tell your insurer.

Re: Syncro engine swap - DJ to AGG
It’s legal! If only I knew then what I know now - this is what I wrote 3rd April 2015 “And so its starts. What better way for a chap to spend 16 days while his wife is away. This should be easy eh! Step 1 = take DJ out step 2 = take AGG out step 3 = put AGG in What could possibly go wrong?” Thanks f...
