Yes the pedestal is removed and I’ve even resorted to gripping it with mole grips to give it a good twist and pull but it doesn’t seem to be moving any further.. is there any sleeve the the rod passes through that I can damage or is it just straight through the crank case? I was originally thinking ...

Just trying to pull it out now and it almost feels captive in the crankcase but moving freely until it hits that point

I’m not really sure, driving along just fine then suddenly stopped. I’m guessing just fatigue as it’s an older aftermarket fuel pump. It looks like the inner part of the arm cracked off as the pivot is fine

Hi all can anyone give me so advise on a type4 1982 cu engine.. the fuel pump has come off fine no problems at all. But the pushrod seems to have full travel but seems to reach the end of its travel and just stop.. I’ve tried tugging at it and spinning it but it won’t come out.. how much force can I...
