Holdsworth Villa 1 lining carpet
New owner of a Villa 1 and loving it but the interior roof and panel lining has pretty much had it. It’s got black mould like stains, is degraded in areas and disintegrates into dust at the slightest touch so needs replacing. Has anyone else done this? I’m fairly confident with replacing the panels ...

Re: Inclines
Thanks everyone, I’m in the South East Guildford way and was cutting across the South Downs at the time on the A3. A fellow high top blasted past me & gave me a supportive toot which was nice 😊 It’s not dropping oil, timing looks sound & the dipstick is hot but not hurty (love that) I’ve bee...

Re: Inclines
That would suggest he’s not in good form then :( The garage compression test came back with all 4 cylinders at 125psi so they said no concerns. It was only loaded with a couple of passengers so not heavy at all in comparison to what I’d like to carry when we get away. I guess around 2T?? I am curiou...

I wasn’t sure where to post this so apologies if it’s in the wrong location. I’m a new owner & after building up some confidence locally took the boy out for a good long drive yesterday & loved every minute. He drove beautifully BUT I was quite alarmed at the loss of power/reduction in speed...

Re: Sliding door won’t lock
I’m delighted to say I got this one resolved 😃 After finally figuring out how the locking components were designed to work I found an issue with the sliding door rear lock. The lock catch wasn’t aligned with the strike plate and had obviously been bashed shut in the locked position so many times tha...

Re: Sliding door won’t lock
Hello Thanks for everyone’s useful comments so far but unfortunately I’m no further forward with this. I’ll try & explain the problem better using the reference part names from the Haynes manual as not sure I did a good enough job with my original blurb. Primary issue - can’t lock the sliding do...

MOT Mileage
When looking at the MOT history of a classic bus with a view to buy is there any reasonable explanation why the mileage might change from km to miles with quite a large discrepancy between years?
E.g. 2009=160000km, 2010=55000 miles
