Hi - my van is stalling at junctions and my regular mechanic is on holiday ... need to get sorted before a trip to the Lakes at the end of the month. Doesn’t pop back into the main gear channel if that makes sense?

It drove fine for half an hour gears all as normal including reversing, then we stopped. When putting into reverse to back out of parking space it happened again.
