Hi all and a happy weekend.. I have a 1986 T3 Westfalia with a 1.9 non turbo Diesal Aspirated conversion. Recently after a bad overheat: had the head gasket replaced, new rad and water pump , re-did air ducting, cleaned water pipes also updated exhaust system. Engine is running happier then it ever ...

Cheers Aiden, that's handy to know. By the looks of it the only part of the exhaust that's original from the stock 1.6 is the Silencer the rest of the exhaust was pieced and welded together and not a bad job of it either just has had it's day. 

Hello all, fairly new to forum and owning my 1986 T3 Hightop .The exhaust has gone for the worse. I d like to replace the lot rather than weld and bit piece it together to keep it going. 1.9 golf SDI engine. Are there full exhaust kits available ? What would be recommended. Cheers
