I just made this choice about a week ago. the ligther engines (Aircooled and 1.9 boxer) use a rubber of about +/- 60mm the bigger engines (diesel and 2.1 boxer) use the bigger rubber (about 75mm) I would advice you to take the bigger 75mm bracket and a new rubber (or a powerflex one). I thought that is also depending on the width of the wheel? You can't go to wide with the rear wheels, otherwise the sliding door wil touch the wheel.
