Re: IS MY FRESH WATER PUMP A GONER?
Hi, Sorry, I don't login every day. The reference is B08HQ6785R . Put that in Google and it'll show up in an Amazon link. In my system there is NO filter. The non return valve is situated just after the tank outlet. If that's where your 'filter' is, maybe it's not a filter but a faulty non-return v...

Re: IS MY FRESH WATER PUMP A GONER?
Hi Hugh I know that you've now got your pump to work but you said something interesting in your first post. I think you said that you were able to blow down the pipe into the tank. This suggests to me that your non return valve is faulty. The output from your tap should be instant, even after weeks...

Re: WONKY POPTOP!
It's not WONKY anymore! Had the idea in the night to get the post threaded. The weak point was the clip, it just wasn't holding. Long story short, post now threaded with accompanying nut (see pic). Nylon wheel now back in runner channel and side panel bracket reattached. OUTCOME? Seems this pop top ...

Re: Finally found Reverse Lights Switch but ... can't budge it! Any ideas???
"AARRGGH!" Hasn't worked. Spent the last couple of hours with washers on and off. The best I can get is a flash of the offside reverse light coming out of reverse gear.

WONKY POPTOP!
So the nearside rear corner of my poptop roof has decided to come off its runner and, in doing so, knocked the rest of the roof out of alignment! I've managed to push it back up into position but it'll need to be sorted as I don't fancy driving it off the drive in its current predicament. So far I'v...

Re: Finally found Reverse Lights Switch but ... can't budge it! Any ideas???
Just be aware that there are two different connectors fort the reverse light switch , try and get the one that matches your loom, or you simply need to change the connection on the loom to match the switch . The switches are non polarised so it matter not which is pos and neg ( like a filament bulb...

Re: Finally found Reverse Lights Switch but ... can't budge it! Any ideas???
UPDATE: Thanks for all the advice Folks! OK, quick update ... I'm not out of the woods yet. I managed to source an aerosal of No-Nonsense Penetrating Oil. Left it on over lunch and "Hey Presto!" A bit of torque on the spanner and the switch came free (thanks Mocki - TOP TIP!) I cleaned up...

Re: Finally found Reverse Lights Switch but ... can't budge it! Any ideas???
They are never near the bottom , poor info there ! Put a bit more effort in on the spanner , it’ll come undone . It’s a standard thread not left hand thread , so lefty loosey as you put it . Maybe a squirt of penetrating oil (Plusgas not WD40) You may find all you need to so is clean it , and add a...

Finally found Reverse Lights Switch but ... can't budge it! Any ideas???
After what feels like hours of searching for this flippin' thing (namely: the Reverse Lights Switch - mine's nearer the top of the gearbox than at the bottom where most people seem to find it!) and ... I can't budge the thing! It doesn't even look rusty - I just can't move it ('lefty loosey', right?...

How far do you need to drive to check fridge on car battery power?
Just spent the last couple of days trying to get the original 3-way Electrolux RM212 fridge in my van up and running. (NB: I'm a new owner and the van was 'sold as seen'. The fridge didn't work - not in the time I've owned it anyway). The outcome of my efforts? It still doesn't seem to want to work ...

Re: IS MY FRESH WATER PUMP A GONER?
I generally have a similar problem after I drain my Gipsy down for the winter, this type of pump will not pump air and will need priming with water somehow, my solution is to open the tap so the microswitch activated the pump and suck on the open end, once the pump body fills with water the sound w...

Re: IS MY FRESH WATER PUMP A GONER?
Can i just state the obvious here ….. is the pump wired the correct way ? It’s just a motor, so if you reverse the wires it will spin the other way ….. Could it be blowing and not sucking ? Hi Mocki! Looking at the connections the red wire is wired to the '+' terminal & black to '-'. When I rem...

IS MY FRESH WATER PUMP A GONER?
Hi All! So I finally got the (correct!) leisure battery installed and everything hooked up. Interior lights are now working as is the Zig control panel HOWEVER it appears my fridge is kapput and ... the jury's out on the in-line fresh water pump from the tank to the sink tap. I'll get on to the frid...
