Does anyone know of a serpentine belt conversion for the DG engine? I know T2 & Beetles have kits but I’ve never seen one for the 1.9. I have a 90 amp alternator which must put a load on the V belt & unless the belt is tensioned perfectly it does that little cherp after starting. I have made...

Thanks for your generous offer but I’ve just ordered the yellow stuff from LLLparts this morning.  

I’m having difficulty obtaining the cylinder head nut sealant. Is there an equivalent that I can use?

I’m rebuilding the top end of my DG 1.9 engine due to burning oil & possible coolant leak. 
Has anybody fitted this kit?
