Re: Dellorto drla carbs
https://i.imgur.com/W8lwELi.png I found this useful book when i was running Dell 36s on my 1776cc type 1. Every engine is different and really needs an experienced eye on a rolling road to jet correctly. I.e. what size are the venturis? What is the fuel pressure, inlet manifolds, compression ratio ...

Re: Backfiring through twin dell's
That can be ignition timing or valve timing. Start with a bottoms up tune up. Eliminating the valve clearances etc. look for scatter with your timing light showing wear in the distributor, make sure you don't have a blocked idle jet, set your mixture correctly. Better a little rich than lean.. Ensur...

Re: Front passenger jacking point toast
I have old squares of scaffold board for this. Can give you a solid steady base for the bottle jack and bridge the gap in the outrigger as well.

Vango ones are decent too. Olpro seem a decent product. A friend has a very fancy trailer tent from them

Re: Colortune
I have one and used one in the past. Dubious about the mpg claims. It is effective in letting you see the lean or rich condition of individual cylinders. It would simply confirm what my ears and timing light/rpm guage are telling me.
Fun but not conclusive.

Re: Recommendations for keeping the T25 outside
Hard standing is a good start as it will keep it out of the damp ground. Do you have a location in the lee of a building? So it isn't bearing the brunt of the weather? If you could build a lean to carport that would help. There are some fairly substantial self erect canopies too I had my bus under a...

Re: All Terrain Tyres
I recently fitted Falken AT3WA; very nice road manners, not noisy, full M&S rating and snowflake, so all year round use - 1/2 the price of BFG and readily available online I am running 215/75/15 on Mefro rims on a Syncro fyi Remind me of your engine, gearbox combo if you would. Power steering? ...

Re: Identifying / replacing sliding windows
I suspect you'd be better off with 2nd hand factory fit sliders that are designed to fit. Less cost than JKs offerings as well.
I may well have a pair of clear glass ones in the parts stash.

Re: Rear jacking points shot?
https://i.imgur.com/6j3WYdh.jpg This is an image of the inner sill above the jacking point in the corner with the cross member. A favourite place for mud to sit and cause corrosion. This is actually a very solid bus but it had still rotted there. Have a bit of a poke here, you might find it's a bit...

https://i.imgur.com/5Ym5JeR.png Here is another image I stole from online. With the rear quarter panel removed, showing the sloping support piece. Note the Peepy hole at the rear on the left and the jacking point at the bottom of the image. Cut your panel out and this is the area you will see. Have...

The 1/4 panel interior can be viewed from inside the bus anyway once the interior panel is out of the ...

Re: Rear jacking points shot?
https://i.imgur.com/RpbZGMz.jpg https://i.imgur.com/wiiVoWp.jpg Before you go cutting into your quarter panel. Remove your rear wheel and look for the two blanking plugs that seal these holes. Then you can look into the quarter panel and also the inner sill above the jacking point. Use a boroscope ...
