Re: GoWesty PCB Diesel -BoD
Well, given the fact that it doesn't work, I won't assume they solved it, maybe thats the problem. I will hook the cluster up to a petrol car and see if this makes it buzz-

Re: GoWesty PCB Diesel -BoD
Also, to directly anwser your question, the BOD circuit is contained on the PCB. It doesn't use the one behind the speedometer.

Re: GoWesty PCB Diesel -BoD
The wires in the 14 pin connector relevant for the BOD seem identical between US and EU T3s. 12, 13 are for high, low pressure oil sensors, and 9 is for the tachometer signal. As there were no Diesel BOD in the US, the only thing which might be different is the source of the tacho signal. On the d...

GoWesty PCB Diesel -BoD
Hi, I am wondering whether any members have feedback on the GoWesty PCB and the buzzer of doom on Diesel vehicles? I have a 1987 1.7D, I have been unable to get the BoD to activate on the GoWesty PCB. I have checked the oil sensors and the tachometer signal (W from alternator), but I cannot get the...

Camber adjustment not possible
Hi everyone, I recently did a front suspension overhaul on my 2WD T3. New bushings everywhere (combo of Powerflex and OEM), new upper and lower balljoints. I took the car to get an alignment, and was informed that they were unable to adjust the camber within spec. Apparently, a couple of differen...

Re: Diesel Resonance at specific RPM range
The problem ended up being the heat shield on the exhaust manifold. There are two pieces of metal, both were not well tightened. The problem one in my case was the rear one.
So great to have that rattle gone.

Re: Diesel Resonance at specific RPM range
Its pretty mild resonance with a slightly hollow tone which occurs only when the car is driving (at least I can't seem to hear it when standing above the engine bay and putting the engine in the corresponding rev range). It occurs in the rev range corresponding to 65 through 70 kmh in fourth gear. A...

Re: Diesel Resonance at specific RPM range
The machine shop recommended skimming after it was pressure tested and measured. The thicker head gasket was used on recommendation from the mechanic. I cannot seem to hear the sound when in the engine bay and rev the engine. I had a shop look at it they were inconclusive in their determination. Sai...

Diesel Resonance at specific RPM range
Hi everyone, I have a 1987 T3 with a 1.7 KY diesel and 4 speed. I have been a bit stumped by running issue in the vehicle and wanted to reach out to other members who might have some experience with this. I have owned the T3 for nearly 1 year and it has been fantastic and reliable. Last summer I ...

Re: Wipers, washers, and heater fans, not working.
Also forgot to mention 86 Diesel T3,
If I jump the relay 30-87, I can get everything to work. So somehow it seems like the power from the 15 curcuit is not getting to the relay?

Re: Wipers, washers, and heater fans, not working.
Hey, thought I would post in here as I am having a similar problem. I took by dash out to fix some rot on the screen. When I re-assembled I had no wipers, washer, heater fan problem. I checked the voltage at the load reduction relay. I had power on the 30 pin, but switching the ignition on did not ...
