Re: Hazard lights only work on one side

I'm trying to find the time, and brave the cold, to do some more work on this. :-)

Will update when I do.

Re: Diesel heater repair

If you think I'm quet on here, think of my poor van! :-) The amount that I'm visiting this forum is in direct relation to the amount that I'm getting to tinker with the van. It's sitting lonely and cold on the drive. Thanks for the feedback everyone. I started far too many threads at once (one for e...

Re: Hazard lights only work on one side

I could put one end of my meter in the holes with the heads of the connections (that the switch fits into), but I don'y know where I'd put the other end of the meter?

Re: Hazard lights only work on one side

Well. that was disappointing. I took the switch apart and gave it a really good clean inside. There was quite a build up of grease, so I was hopeful that it would solve the problem. Unfortunately, after putting it back, the problem is pretty much exactly the same. Not even a bit better. So, I think ...

Re: Hazard lights only work on one side

This switch is driving me mad! Take it out - Works perfectly. Put it back in, it's intermittent at best. Mostly back to just doing left indicators. On the dashboard, when both red lights are alternating, then it's working, but most of the time, one, or the other, or neither of the lights are working...

Re: Hazard lights only work on one side

Are the switches easy to take out?

Is it a case of screwdriver underneath and a bit of a jiggle, or more to it than that?

Re: Coolant expansion tank completely empty.

Yes. Exactly right.

I was surprised. I had water, ready to top up, but the heat and levels remained fine.

Re: Rear wiper reservoir

Are you sure you have rear wash wipe? That’s a leisuredrive conversion, and they normally leave a hatch to get to the rear res. Either it’s had a interior fitted from another van, or maybe another tailgate ? I would be very surprised if that came from leisuredrive like that . It's definitely got a ...

Re: Rear wiper reservoir

Thanks for the pics. Very useful. There's a small hole, in the panel on my van. Just big enough for my little fingertip. See the centre of the final image in the set of photographs that I posted. I wonder if that feeds directly into the rear wash container! :-) It looks to be roughly the right place...

Re: Coolant expansion tank completely empty.

Sorry to see that problem still remains, I think you maybe correct that the system has not been bled properly, also if they only half filled or partially filled the tank, then the red light on your dash should have been flashing indicating this I presume this is the same for diesels. They said half...

Re: Coolant expansion tank completely empty.

The coolant has always been pink.

Does that mean that I do need to be putting G12+ in there?

Diesel heater repair

Hi All, When we bought our T25, a few months ago, the previous owner told us that it had a diesel heater, but that it didn't work. He had never used it, but thought that the problem was just missing pipework underneath. Here are some photographs of what I currently have ... https://www.dropbox.com/s...
