painting wheel rims and/or rusted metal hub caps
I have a 1984 T25 model and wondered whether to paint the rims white and just leave the original rusted metal hub caps. Unlikely to be able to find old metal hub caps that are not rusted like mine? Any ideas anyone? I saw new ones for £30 each but they would look odd on my old van I think. My van i...

Re: Body work in Bristol for T25
Thanks Paul - that's helpful. Jeff has restored my van but he's expensive as you say and I was wondering about getting it done cheaper. Saying that, I know a guy who used a cheaper guy for a respray and it all pealed off so I may be best to stick with Jeff.

Re: Opinions on rust
Hi I thought I would ad my bit of experience. I too like you were searching for a van for a few years. I kept sending pics to a resto expert of vans around 7-9K and he came back each time and said you are going to spend another 9K on it. Eventually I bought off ebay last year a T25 pop top water coo...

Re: Decathlon lounge extension for T25 trips
Thanks for this. I think the front can be a roll out? See what you are saying so I hope I can attach it but I was planning to probs pitch it not at the sliding door but a little to one side for extra space - not sure. They are back in stock - only a few left - so have ordered one!

Decathlon lounge extension for T25 trips
Has anyone got any experience of using a Decathlon lounge extension instead of a drive away awning? Thought it might be easier and cheaper than trying to fix on an awning and drive back and get the van into the correct position as that sounds tricky for me! https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/6-person-cam...

Re: Drive Away Awnings
Has anyone any ideas about this Decathlon 'lounge'. I thought I could put it close to the van. It's not a driveaway but I thought a drive away will be hard for me to fit and also it seems quite hard to get into position when you come back having driven away! https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/6-person-ca...

Re: leisure battery for T25 pop top 1984
I need a battery that is 170mm or less as that is what my current one is. It is in a hinged lid so any bigger and the lid won't close and then the seat won't pull back into position! A car battery that fits would be fine as it only runs the water pump and internal lights.
