Hi,
You’re right, there must be a wire on the switch at the lever. It switches earth to the bulb.
Could have slipped under the carpet.
If you have seen the light working it might be due to it’s double purpose for the hand brake and the low brake fluid warning.

I will have to change my sensor as well as It leaks as well. I already have the replacement here with me, I will check the old ones for cracks once done.

Just a quick update: Releasing brake fluid through the bleed srew didn’t help, the shoes still press against the drum. Double checked the adjuster, but as said, it is loose. When I peek through the inspection hole I see the shoe against the drum, but imposible to push back. Handbrake cable is loose ...
