Have you manually bled tappets before fitting?
I did that when I rebuilt my dg and fitted marco high lift rockers and it started and ran beautifully

looks like wire on top left should go on bottom left as no circuit on half that loop otherwise

All i did when i fitted a 90 a was kink the original rod in vice
