Devon pop top gas struts
We need to order replacement gas struts for our devon pop top, it has 3 struts (2 that go up and 1 horizontal) does anyone know the part number for the vertical replacements? We're going to order from SGS. The codes have worn off them, we've managed to make out the horizontal one which is 0308200169...

Re: Valve Seats
Took it to another garage who work on Aircooled engines, they have said the idle air cut off valve needs replacing, they never mentioned valve seats so got my fingers crossed that's all it is!

How big (expensive) a job is it to get the valve seats repaired/replaced on a 2.0 litre Aircooled engine?

Re: Engine stalling
Thanks for the reply...Not sure, we're new to all this but just been reading it could be an air leak. How would we test this? Will the have visible damage? Really hoping we can sort out and the engine isn't knackered!

Engine stalling
As above, when we start the camper it keeps cutting out. We were able to drive it if we kept the revs high. Put in the garage to look into the issue, the carbs were rebuilt but it's worse now? Any ideas? Thanks

Sorry for the late reply, we've been away for a few days. Thanks for all the info, it's been really useful! When we bought it the guy said it needs a new silencer, but apart from that not sure. We literally drove home and parked up outside a relatives until we had a bit more time to look. Thanks for...

Hi everyone, Last weekend we bought our first T25, an air cooled Devon Pop top. It's got a few little niggles we need to sort but we're happy with it :) Today I was looking over it and noticed behind the rear wheel arch on the driver's side looked like a tank that had some rust but also looked like ...
