1.9 dg 1987 only get 10ltr coolant back in ?
Hi everybody I have completed a coolant flush and refill, I used ready mixed g48 as needed the bus on the road, however after opening rad bleed screw and removing both screws under engine, after running it up to temp with rad flush, on refilling I was only able to get 10ltr back in. Heat at top of R...

Yes we have been thinking the same, plotting a easier route home , and will pick up some oil on route, need g13 coolant as well or equivalent, had her running to check for leaks for about 20mins and then to top up behind number plate, about 10mm lower than max, no oil light but just on tick over wit...

Re: total coolant loss engine damage ?
And in reply to Ian, we are on holiday going home tomorrow, checked oil and water before we left and when we arrived , went out for the day and did the same, went to the shop and it happened including oil light. I have personally changed the coolant oil many times, replaced cracked header tank, radi...

Re: total coolant loss engine damage ?
Many thanks.
Seems to run fine at idle, I will be keeping an eye on the oil level now, and will change all the clips, and sort the sensor light out .
The oil light only came on in this trip obviously oil had thinned so low pressure
Chris

Hi everyone, We took our bus out dg1.9 drove for about 10mins, I noticed the temp gauge was a little higher than normal but only maybe 5mm further to the right, oil light came on at low revs but drove as normal. When we got back I checked and found no coolant in the header or expansion tank, the eng...

Re: zig unit on site button over voltage
Many thanks , been reading up about diodes and when they fail they are open circuits, so one has failed at least, i will get a multi meter, then take the zig apart and check. obviously the failed diode is allowing a current through even when the battery is fully charged , so i guess that is where th...

Re: zig unit on site button over voltage
Its a cf8, my multi meter is broken, so I need to pick a new one up, I think I measured the 12v running to the water heater and it came in at 15.8 v when it was working and with 240v switch on and on site switch in that position, it all read the correct voltage on both battery's when the 240v switch...

zig unit on site button over voltage
Hi , I have been looking for an answer to my problem, when on site hookup when I select the on site button, I get an overvoltage which sets my propex heater and water heater into error mode ie red flashing light. I believe this is because a diode is faulty in the zig unit , and the voltage is over 1...

Re: New Interior
Martrim ltd in biege a little darker than the original and a little thicker , i think i am going to iron the edges, especially in the upper windows as these are glued to metal sheet and thin ply around the widows so the edges are a bit fat, the mrs likes this but when i screw them in i think they wi...
