Rear driver's side tail light on a 1980 VW T25 is not working. I have checked the bulb and cleaned out the contacts on both lightbulb and fitting, both are shiney and bright. cheers guys did as suggested and it seemed that shorting out the two wires made the brake lights come on hence its the switch so one now ordered and again thaNKS

anyone got any ideas why the brake lights have both suddenly failed , bulbs ok . is there a fuse maybe or a wire that tends to go perhaps ? thanks jonny
