Sorry meant to reply sooner but the fuse tip worked a treat. I've removed the corresponding fuse for now and will think about trying to fix it later.

Thanks. Part of the problem is getting the clock out it seems a big task to get the dash apart to get to it.
Hence why I was hoping that it would have its own fuse which I could Just disconnect, at least short term.
