Been looking at www.mobile.de and www.autoscout24.com to find a T3 or T4 mulitvan in Germany. I'm hoping to get a decent compromise between economy and power. Many of the T4 diesels seem to be big engines but not very powerful, 2.5diesels with 57kw (77ps). Surely thats a bit underpowered, and not ve...

So 1Y = powerful enough, reliable, but prob not good enough to tow with Subaru = loads of oomph!, good to tow, drinks diesel a bit, expensive to get installed 1.9TDi, say from a Sharan = somewhere inbetween the above. Two last things, 1 - do any of these conversions give better economy? 2 - is a die...
