Re: Brake pads disintegration
Sounds like one part of the caliper is not retracting, I would have a good look at its operation, clean and lubricate if required. Maybe worth posting a couple of images. Just to add was there a noticeable drop in fluid at the reservoir. No drop in fluid, will check over calipers. Already seen no ...

Brake pads disintegration
Just inspected front pads, late model sliding caliper, to find that the outer pad both sides of van has completely disintegrated down to the back plate, while the inner pads still have plenty left, is this common, or an indication of a problem with the calipers? Already ordered new discs and pads.

Zig X2
Anyone got any experience with a zig X2 unit, not sure if leaving it on will boil the battery or if it will shut off automatically, if anyone has the manual that would be great also.
Thanks

Distributor

I've got pictures no idea how to put them on here though. Had a quick look on bw can't see one, anyone kno...

Steering rack leak
Hi, just replaced the steering rack bushes, powerflex very nice.
I noticed that the large allan key grub screw/drain plug, on the bottom has grease being forced out around it, can I undo it and put more in or is it dead?
If so what sort?

Re: Rear trailing arm bush fitting
I have done this using a modified hobby vise and 32mm socket and fitted new powerflex bushes, my question is should I have done up the bolts weight on wheels,I did get the bolts in the same place but I did it with the trailing arms not hanging free but only slightly jacked up.

Re: exhaust fitting
It's the flange and tubing I can't get off, not the studs themselves.
My next step is to take the water pipe off the pump see if I get more room

Re: exhaust fitting
It's a1.9dg I believe it's a standard exhaust. It's undone and moving I just can't get it back over the studs.

Re: exhaust fitting
I have a leaking gasket rear left hand side, I've undone the nuts easily, also the nuts at the union where all the pipes join. However I can't get the pipe to slide far enough off the studs, any help would be good.
Thanks

Re: Handbrake warning light?
Should say I traced it back to the fitting that holds the handbrake warning light.
There is an empty space above the light, do any versions use that for something?

Handbrake warning light?
Hello, I have a bit of a puzzle while fitting fog lights I discovered a loose wire behind the fuse box, with a connector that would appear to fit on the back of the fuse box, it's a thin, poss .5mm yellow wire. I have traced it back to the handbrake warning light. As far as I know everything works, ...
