Re: Mazda bongo
I looked at the bongos a lot, also visited a lot of fan pages. Most complaints about the diesel were that the glow plugs were 15 plus years old and that it and it's 2.5 v6 petrol brother were heavy drinkers. The 2 litre petrol appealed to me the most but the main gripe about that was for towing...I ...

Soundproofing the van
Hi,
I've been doing a few runs in the van and found that at 50 miles an hour it gets a bit loud, at 55 I can't hear passengers in the back and at 60 ish it's pointless trying to listen to anything including the radio...is there a way to muffle the noise apart from driving slower?

Re: Can anyone recommend a dehumidifier for camper
Thanks Fairwind, I do run the camper for about an hour a day, with heating and camp stove at full blast. I will also add some cat litter, mainly as I don't drink lemonade and may be caught short in yamyam land, I have no idea where that mystical place is but with my sense of direction I will most li...

Can anyone recommend a dehumidifier for camper
can anyone recommend a dehumidifier for campervan or some way to take out the moisture? ( I did just read about the salt in a bucket trick, so will be employing that tomorrow however I would like a more permanent solution).
Cheers

Re: Where to buy a starter motor
When it comes to technical stuff I'm pretty poor at building things, my son is more intuitive along those lines...however I'm always willing to try my hand at new things.
Chris I pmed you...will it fit my camper?
Once again thank you all.

Re: Where to buy a starter motor
Hi and thanks for keeping the information flowing, covkid who are gsf?
Ian and Lins, thank you, will now need to read up on earth straps and brush packs, I am hoping that it is that rather than a new starter.

Hand brake light keeps flashing me
I went for a drive to box hill and back and on my return the handbrake light kept glowing at me at random times....what does this mean? I did check to see that hand brake was at lowest point on my drive home.
