Heater pipes, flow and return 1.6D
Just a quick query as I pulled my cooling system apart and a few weeks have elapsed since and my notes have disappeared in the mess that is my garage, now I'm putting it all back with new hoses and I want to check i'm doing it correctly. The flow and return to the cab heater matrix in the dash. true...

Re: Syncro Vs 2wd
I have a 2wd doka with 15" merc steels, 215/75/15 BFG tyres and a locking diff fitted by Aidan, it's pretty damned good to be honest. Fair enough it won't do what a full blown syncro will but i've done quite a few green lanes and general mucking about in it and it's coped admirably. It's amazin...

Re: Another No Hi Beam thread (sorry)

Another No Hi Beam thread (sorry)
Hi, first things first my doka is a 1987 diesel and I've lost my hi beam. First of all I thought it might be an earth issue as my crowns were a bit corroded from a previously leaky windscreen corner so I pulled the dash out, fitted new earth crowns and cut back and recrimped all the earths on the lo...

Re: PLZ HELP! Hole in bellhousing leaking gearbox oil
If it's gearbox oil you've got a blown seal and it needs replacing, if you just bung up the hole to stop the oil coming out you'll most likely end up with the excess trapped in the bell housing and contaminating your clutch. Best course of action is to drop the box and sort it properly :ok Best rega...

if he wasn't familiar with t25's then there's not a lot of chance he'll have expelled all your air. have a look at this.... http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/forum/bleeding-the-cooling-system_topic29710.html and that should see you sorted well enough. personally I've always bled mine parked downhill and i...

Re: Cooling/Radiator Problem
sounds like you have air in the system to me, was the guy you took it to familiar with the T25 cooling system, there's a bit of a knack to bleeding them properly and if he was just a general mechanic  just a thought. Have you opened the bleed screw on the top of the radiator to see if you get ...

Re: Stuck fuel cap!!
my van was like this when I bought it, it had been stood for 3 years and I guess just seized up. i kept squirting a good penetrating lubricant in the keyhole for about 3 days, literally until it was running out, and eventually it freed off

Re: Guess I need a new radiator
Once you've cut the old bolt heads off and removed the radiator support brackets you can fit the j-nuts from the rear, they simply slide into place, then you offer up the bracket and then insert the new bolts. It'll make more sense once you have the brackets off. Any more help just ask
