ahh ok so the theoretical max is 75 kg if the tow bar is rated to that? not that i will be near it but if i had 50 kg on it i would like to think the extra 25 would be a good safety margin

hi looking at getting a tow hitch fitted with the thought of mounting a rack or shelf to store general stuff i dont want inside. looking through all the forums and handbook it states 50kg or 75kg if a "special certificate" is obtained. what is this mysterious special certificate as i want ...

that would be very helpful indeed. it i cant upload a photo if what i think it is but its plastic and collects to a hook so as the bi metal warms up it twists the flap?? sorry please correct me if wrong

ahh ok i didnt know that. as im aware he has only taken out the flap then. idles fine when cold, bit high when hot but not excessive

the flap is currently sitting on my dash board. so not in the carb at all....

Also got lpg on it. What isn't running correctly so need to get it tuned hopefully Saturday.

I would love to but can't find that part anyway. So at the moment it's this way or I don't know

Ahh sorry. The choke has been disconnected as the plastic but that connects to it had snapped and only half of it was found. The rest a mystery. So when I was driving it would flap around freely

Hey guys that's for all the epic help! Yep as you guys said a build up of years of coolant, bit of pitting and crap hose clips. Sorted now but will replace the hoses soon.

P.s. it's leaking quite bad and only stops when the engine is cold. Not sure what to do guys as it's my only vehicle

Hi guys got a Pierburg 2e3 i believe on my 1.9 dg. Among over problems i seem to have a leak of coolant from the choke housing? 1. i cant find much info on the coolant/ carb relationship. i know it controls the autochoke which i dont have. 2. can i get a new gasket? cant really see where its leaking...

Hi a Newby here to the forum as I have just purchased a 1985 beauty i will post pics soon.
Could someone point me in the right direction as my roof rack wont fit above the front doors as the fittings doesn't let the door open ?? Is there a way to drop the door a little?? Thanks in advance brad
