Re: Idle problem now!
Another thought, could E10 fuel be an issue, maybe worth trying E5 for a bit, I may try this myself if my problem comes back.

Also ref conversions, in view of recent posts regarding MOT exemptions after vehicle ages forty, unsure if this alteration affects this, worth raising to see what other members think.

Did you get any indication of problems with the coolant tank in the engine bay, Dalek cap, wiring etc.

Has the fuel pump been checked for delivering fuel to the carb? Presuming it is a mechanical one running off the engine cam.

Re: Water jet hose driver side fell though :( help
I replaced my nozzles with the 3 jet option sometime back and nearly lost the hose inside the van. I wonder if this does happen can you feed the new hose through the nozzle hole back to the pump and reservoir without removing the dash, even if it takes a different route.

Re: New to the T25

Preventing it at source is best option, I use those sponge cloths by spontex, they soak up the water quite well, i leave them where the water collects and check each day especially after heavy rain.

Re: Front number plate location
Thanjs Cliff, read the link but confused as to the description of the plate being in a vertical position. If it said horizontal it would make more sense, I must be getting my geometry wrong.

Front number plate location
Like most if not all, my front number plate is fitted to the front of the bumper. Which makes it vulnerable to damage if you get a bit to close to an object or when stepping on the bumper to get access to elevating roof. Is it possible to fit the number plate below the bumper and are special bracket...
